The settlement is a farming hamlet, where the Old Ways are not just the object of study and reverence, but a way of life. They naturally deferred to my Pure nature and called me 'Kaari',  a clear conjunction of 'Ki Ari'. I was pointed towards caverns in the south where there was a place of Worship to an entity they referred to as 'the Lady in the Mists'. They described her as a fertility goddess and make offerings of produce and livestock to her in exchange for protection of themselves and their harvest. I purchased wine and funded a head of cattle from the merchant that gave ne the information to serve as an offering.

My exploration of the caverns described led me to two discoveries: A series of plaques embedded in the cliff face behind waterfalls. Two of the three were too worn to be read, while the third read 'Mother-warden Verdaris III of Ri Kahri Narsa.' I believe this to have been one of the Refugee ships that fled the Caldera in the wake of the Republic purges, which presumably rests nearby.

Further in, I found the 'Lady in the Mists'. A statue that I believe represents Marserha Jochor, a gravid Pure-blooded woman. The plinth she stood upon bore a plack reading 'My children, cast unto the stars, their fate and path unclear. I shall watch them and I shall wait for them. I shall build for their kin a refuge, and when they return will kindle in them a greatest All shall cower before me.' I do not think the locals can read the Kittât of the plaque, but they have come to naturally revere the entity the statue represents. With time and education, the locals can easily be brought into the Old Faith, and the further historical significance of the region is to be thoroughly explored.
