Public Call for Operation Team Assembly

Attached to the file would be a prerecorded holomessage that when selected would play. Trakaton's form would blaze to life in the classic display of a holographic transmission, the electric blue tinge accenting some features while diminishing others. Trakaton would be stood with his arms folded across his armoured chest, the cloak hanging loosely from his shoulders and the custom-fit plates of the armour looking as comfortable as an embrace. The scar on the right side of his face would be barely visible, his head ever so slightly turned to the right and he'd speak with a tone of authority:

"Since its inception, the Kalkoran Powerbase has been used as an instrument of War, Expansion and Industry by the greater Horuset Powerbase as a whole. We are once more at a point where the Powerbase is further looking for resources in a point in time when they are scarce. The planet of Hoth, with its Starship Graveyard, can provide the answers we seek with its frozen trophies from the last wars.
While Hoth was hotly contested during the last wars, both Imperial and Republic Outposts were abandoned across the world when the resource shortages came into effect. The garrison for the planet from both sides was severely reduced and thus, years later, we can pick up the pieces. Scouts have located an abandoned Imperial Outpost on the frozen surface, not too far from the Starship Graveyard.
The assembled team will be dropped off on the surface near the abandoned outpost itself. From there, a short hike will ensue before the team is to arrive at the Outpost. The objective is simple, scour the remnants of the Imperial Outpost, clear out any Beasts or Pirates that may have made their home inside and see that power is restored. Once the power is turned back on, report the success so that Troops can move in and secure the facility."

*With that the hologram would flicker and then fade from view. Leaving the viewer able to access the rest of the information provided.*

Location: The Location of the Abandoned Imperial Outpost is upon the surface of Hoth, near the Starship Graveyard.

The Outpost: Records of the Imperial Outpost, archived since its active duty have been uncovered by researchers within the Powerbase. A detailed map of the facility is available.

Objectives: In this task there will be two primary objectives and one secondary objectives.
Primary Objective I: Clear the Abandoned Outpost of all hostiles.
Primary Objective II: Turn the power to the Outpost back on.
Secondary Objective I: Uncover any items of worth from the time before the Outpost was abandoned.

Time Frame: The group will have 28 days to complete the task.
((The 9th of November will be the deadline!))

Estimated Party Size: The recommendation of Lord Kalkoran is that a group size of no more than four will be necessary for the technical difficulties of restoring power and the clearing of any Beasts or Pirates.

*Zutauha Ronith would appear on the holo, dressed in sleek black cloth clothing.*

"Apprentice Zutauha reporting in with a report on the mission to reclaim the Hoth outpost. Myself, Apprentice Soyut and Neophyte Vaenra comprised the ground team with Neophyte Siors acting in a support capacity aboard the shuttle. I gave the order that fatalities were acceptable but that collateral damage to the base and its contents were to be kept to an absolute minimum. A small contingent of Soyut's troops were bought along. The group approached the outpost and performed preliminary recon before entering the base. Upon entry, the base was seen to be mostly intact although with an odd green slime on many surfaces and a few corpses in sight. These corpses were largely animal, suggesting a predators den. It was now that we encountered some unusual creatures with acidic blood, and Neophyte Siors joined us in the base. Neophyte Siors immediately began to clog the com channel with irrelevant banter and attempting to provoke arguments. We then met what appeared to be a heavily cybernetically augmented Gand who reported that there was a "fire slug" coming to eat it. We then took the Gand prisoner and engaged this odd creature, which quite literally breathed fire. We immediately engaged the slug, opening fire and taking cover. I used a sonic grenade thrown into its mouth to stun it while the others moved in, killing the creature. Everyone performed adequately in this fight. After this the power was restored, and the base checked. Large amounts of functional weaponry and ammunition were found in crates throughout the base. At the end of the mission Neophytes Siors and Vaenra bickered again."

*Soyut Vipion would appear on the holo. He would be dressed in the Vipion battle armour. Though the right shoulder was missing. He would have his helmet under his arm as he would speak.*

"Apprentice Soyut Vipion reporting in with a report on the mission at hand. The strike team used to reclaim the site on Hoth was constructed on myself. Apprentice Zutauha Ronith. And Neophyte Vaenra Horuset. As well as my forces I made the choice to bring. The flight to the location was that of a rocky start. Weather conditions far from idea but after setting up a perimeter to use as a basic defense. Once we entered the location it would seem that the 'fire slug' had left remains of goo and its prey all over the site. We progressed through this and after a short encounter with the Gand. We had Neophyte Siors come and clog the comms with useless chatter. As expected he carried this on throughout. When we entered combat with the slug. He made many a risky choice. As well as dangerous acts of running into blaster fire to play the hero. When we moved to finish the beast in a odd turn of events Neophyte Vaenra proved of some worth in dealing with the creature. And after we moved to collect and search the site for anything of interest to hand over. The two ran off like children to find new toys in the store. Leaving the end result with their bickering having Neophyte Siors toss crates of value around like sacks of grain at the other Neophyte."

*Vaenra flickers into view on a Holo message.*

"Apprentice Soyut sums it up rather well, except the end of it. I went around to find and mark shipments of interest. Have I been looking to put something away, I'd have done so while no one was looking. And I was not bickering with the other Neophyte, when I came back after bringing the force sensitive Gand to the shuttle, I saw him bringing two crates with him, and when I asked him as to what he was doing he just said 'Training' then he proceeded to throw the crates at me. To me it seemed like I caught him red-handed while he was doing something."

Ongoing Crisis
The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!

The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!

After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
