NPC Name: Rear Admiral Egeltrud Mor-Vardrin
Rusted Iron
NPC Image:
Relation to House Horuset: Hostile/Neutral
Brief Desription: Egeltrud Mor-Vardrin is a fallen woman, once candidate to become the Moff of the Myto sector off of the back of her involvement in the conquest of Dubrillion. But the conquest failed, and Mor-Vardrin was left to direct the Imperial Terrestrial Exploitation Corp, commonly known as ITEC. She blamed much of the failing of the Dubrillion initiative upon the Horuset Powerbase, and would come to terms with this group again when they were assigned to guard ITEC's efforts to hurriedly extract materials from the planet of Anx Minor.
Although the collaborative effort was a success, tensions between the two groups flared immensely and the Vice-Director of ITEC, Ryse Reese, died in a Republic assassination that Mor-Vardrin blamed the Horuset Powerbase for. Dislike escalated to hatred, and when the Imperial Conclave of the Outer Territories rolled around, Mor-Vardrin saw her chance to unseat her Pureblooded foes and claim a greater slice of the north for herself. Unfortunately for her, a string of embarrassments alongside a scandal involving her left hand woman and a betrayal by her right hand man saw her reputation in tatters and her platform the sick man of the conclave.
She was exiled from the North, given command of a small fleet on the border with Zygerria amongst the considerably reduced Eastern Fleets alongside an effective demotion to Rear Admiral. In essence, this is a putting-out-to-pasture of the older woman, whose willpower seems to have been shattered by the experience.
Notable Activities: Sought to unseat House Horuset and claim the Northern reaches under her arm, but was exiled to the Eastern Front following it
Last Known Appearance: Serving her reduced position in the Eastern Reaches

NPC Name: Colonel Grallo, Director of ITEC
The Imperial Cockroach
NPC Image:
Relation to House Horuset: Friendly
Brief Desription: The proverbial cat always landing on his feet, Colonel Grallo has orchestrated a meteoric rise in the Imperial hierarchies both formal and informal. He has done so by courting favor with the powerful, deploying familial and allegiance ties in his favor and a brutally cold, calculating system of betrayals and backstabbings. For though Grallo is ostensibly pathetic, weaselly and simpering, his weak exterior hides a heart of ice and a mind of sharpened steel. He is quite happy to play the weak man if it benefits him, but at his back is a web of allies and contacts that spans most of the Northern Territories and a surprising amount of the Sith Core, a network he never stops looking to grow. Grallo is a secondary member of the House of Verbenz-Grallo, an ancient human noble house with properties across the Empire and a long history of excellent military service and allegiance to the Ministry of Logistics. He is cousin to the head of the House, Lord Verbenz-Grallo.
Notable Activities: He took control of ITEC in the wake of the ICOT, by publicly betraying Mor-Vardrin and siding with the Horuset Powerbase. A tentative and wary warming of relations between ITEC and the Horusets has begun since, both continuing to operate in the Northern Territories.

NPC Name: Moff Zannata Elverid, Sector Moff of the Dalonbian Sector
The Wolf of Kuat
NPC Image:
Relation to House Horuset: Friendly
Brief Desription: Zannata Elverid is an Imperial Admiral of the old breed - a war-dog with a soul of sharpened steel and a back as straight as a Harrower's keel. So navally focused is she, that she walks under natural gravity with a limp born not of injury, but out of her body having adjusted for the slightly different artificial gravity of an Imperial warship. Born into an old military, albeit not strictly aristocratic, family on Kaas, she was a First Lieutenant assigned to the gunnery decks of a Harrower named 'The Imperial Spear' during the Sacking of Coruscant, and afterwards she began to rise the ranks with an icy calm within her no matter the crisis, as well as a reputation for competence, patience and resoluteness. Her broad knowledge base of naval tactics and the respect she engendered in the men serving under her saw her a Vice-Admiral by the time of the Galactic War's break-out, and she received many accolades during the course of the war.
She finally earned her Admiral rank in the Battle of Kuat, when she spearheaded a series of brutally punishing lightning speed maneuvers with her fleet, reaping a heavy toll on the shipyards of Kuat and their picket ships before the retreat was ordered. For this she earned the informal title 'Wolf of Kuat' due to the stalking, intricately complex arrangements and movements of her fleet, as though they were some form of canid pack tearing a foe apart one piece at a time. The Conquest of Zakuul, however, convinced her that the Empire needed defenders as much as it did conquerors, and she transferred to the Sphere of Defense of the Empire soon afterwards. She has since commanded a large fleet in the Empire's Western Territories for several years, but conflicts with Sith commanders in the region whom she saw as rash and prone to wastefulness, especially Darth Gorrovitz, saw her disillusioned with the role.
Notable Activities: When the chance came at the ICOT, the outreach of the Horuset Powerbase saw her pivot and claim the role of Sector Moff of the Dalonbian Sector in close alliance with the old traditionalist house. While not a traditionalist herself, Elverid has held a fondness for the Horuset's gradual building of power over several years, and her ties to Darth Horuset and Darth Kalkoran are close despite their recent acquaintance.
Moff Eleverid entered an ongoing agreement with the Sphere of Resurgence, sending low-to-medium risk prisoners to Seline, serving out their sentences via Horuset's established labor camps.

NPC Name: Moff Fornam, Fleet Admiral
The Broken Man
NPC Image:
Relation to House Horuset: Unknown
Brief Desription: Fornam's tale is one of two men; a valiant naval officer, and a twitching, ruined wreck of a man. The truth of this tale is that no single one telling is true - but a mixture. Fornam rose to prominence as a member of a minor naval family from Thule, who were part of the millions of Thule natives who rose to swear themselves to the Empire immediately upon its resurgence. Born into such an atmosphere, it should be no surprise that he joined the Imperial Navy and served with distinction. A man who took well to his education and was known for his record of good, clean, precise manuvers, operating his duties, then later ship, and finally his fleets like a surgeon wields a scalpel. It was in this form that Fornam earned plaudits for his service in the orbital battles to isolate and siege Mon Calamari, but the assaults on the planet stalled - the military assets there too intense, the terrain too hostile, the Empire's focus too divided. That has ushered in the current state of affairs for the East for the last several decades, a siege of Mon Cala, and much else on the front quiet. This has not been good for the careers of those stationed there, but many believed Fornam's bright star at least would survive this status quo. Unfortunately, as Fornam's capital ship, 'The Tide-Reaver' was patrolling the eastern galactic border, his cockpit was attacked by a strange, extra-galactic humanoid creature. He was horrendously injured, and many of his command staff killed.
Fornam was pieced back together, mended with cybernetics and the finest medical staff the East had to spare. But his mind could not be salvaged so easily, he has struggled with intense PTSD ever since, as well as a series of tics and smaller anxieties. Desperate to escape the galactic borderlands fearing a massive invasion of unknown forces from beyond the galaxy, he forged an alliance with Darth Gorrovitz during the ICOT, and secured an appointment as his Fleet Admiral in the wake of Moff Elverid's transfer to the North.
Could this be a chance at restoration for poor Fornam, or will he find the enemy he knows as formidable as the one didn't?

NPC Name: Moff Invitz
The Spider
NPC Image:
Relation to House Horuset: Unknown
Brief Desription: A man of shadows and subtlety, Moff Invitz has been a long-time member of the Empire’s intelligence community. Small in stature and softly spoken, Invitz’s enemies have a track record of underestimating him before disappearing from the public record entirely, ending up an unidentified corpse on a remote neutral world. Beginning his career as a military attaché to Imperial Intelligence assets in the galactic north, Invitz ensured his good fortunes through his ruthless streak and his natural talent for gathering, sorting and acting on information. It did not hurt, of course, that Invitz just so happened to stumble upon the secrets of the rich and powerful of the Empire. Eventually entering Imperial Intelligence proper and surviving the transition into Sith Intelligence, Invitz earned his sobriquet of ‘the Spider’ through a small collection of feats. The first is the impressive web of contacts and secrets he has woven for himself, the second being his strange, disconcertingly quick mannerisms and movements and the third being his unusual cybernetic hands. Long-fingered and able to segment into a veritable quiver of manipulators, data spikes and other devices, both of the hands look uncanny and tend to autonomously skitter across various surfaces around him.
One of the most senior members of the intelligence community in the Northern Territories at the time of the ICOT, he was the expected successor of Moff Klovin, but surprising many he instead moved to the Western Territories as the left hand of Darth Gorrovitz. Of particular note was his betrothal to Duchess Svendel, the ruler of Divora within the Hapes Sector and a major pro-Imperial agitator.

NPC Name: Moff Cambiar, Sector Moff of the Brema Sector
The Champion of Sullust
NPC Image:
Relation to House Horuset: Friendly
Brief Desription: The Cambiars are a long serving family of Kaasian Imperials with a history dating back to their earlier members earning a reputation as skilled shipwrights and naval officers during the exile. In recent years they have become influential in the Southern Territories, specifically in the Sullust Enclave. Moff Cambiar was a noteworthy admiral during the conquest of Sullust, known for his quick wit, poise and ability to respond to enemy engagements with an almost instinctual ease. During the final ground assaults on the planet, Cambiar was touring a fortress when members of the Sullustan resistance triggered an explosion within a nearby volcano, flooding the fortress with lava. Cambiar was horrendously burned across much of his body, but was carried to a shuttle and managed to escape. Hailed as a hero, he was given the responsibility of Sector Moff of Brema, and thus controls arguably one of the most important Sectors in the Empire. A rail thin, stern-faced man, Cambiar brooks no fools and respects only hard-won strength, he is also one of very few remaining traditionalist Moffs. He no longer visits the surface of Sullust, preferring to spend his time on his fleets or on the orbital shipyards over the world. Some claim that this is due to a crippling fear of fire and magma, but never within his earshot.
During the ICOT Cambiar seems to have forged an alliance with the Horusets, paved by a mutual dislike of aliens as well as the Moff’s nephew, Captain Alex Cambiar, being the right hand of Darth Kalkoran’s former Apprentice. He has turned his attention to consolidating the disparate southern enclaves of the Empire, and joining them to the crucial hyper routes through Hutt Space that allow them to survive.

NPC Name: Sector Moff Graush
The Director
NPC Image:
Relation to House Horuset: Friendly
Brief Desription: Maximillian Graush is a rare scion of his line; one of the very few members of the nigh ancient Graush dynasty of Sith nobility born without the means to use the Force.
Nevertheless he is an extremely influential man in his own right, leveraging his family's connections with the Kaasian nobility Graush has been most successful in spinning a web of allies, leverage, blackmail and favors to navigate the cutthroat landscape of Imperial politics with.
He stands among the ranks of the few Imperials in the Empire's millennia long history to ever attain the rank of Sector Moff without ever serving in a position of direct military command.
No, Graush instead has a long career of Eugenics and Scientific Xenophobia to thank for his political standing. Having chosen to join the ranks of the Imperial Science Bureau rather than any of the combat arms of the military at an early age, Graush had worked his way up the ranks of the Alien Control organization.
Spending his years fulfilling the genocidal task of Nonhuman-based population control across the Empire's conquered worlds.
By the time of Zakuul’s invasion and Empress Acina’s reign, Graush had already attained the title of Science Director for the Alien Control division across the Empire’s Northern Territories. Yet he grew disillusioned during this era. Acina’s efforts to promote political unity through integration and her increasing tolerance of nonhumans disgusted him. Compounding his dissatisfaction was the stagnation of the Empire’s expansion; with no new worlds to purge, there was little glory left in his post. Eventually, he resigned in protest, retreating to Dromund Kaas to plot his next move.
It was there, amidst the decadent rot of Sith high society, that Graush once again proved his value—not on a battlefield, but in smoke-filled drawing rooms, hushed corridors, and lavish receptions. Through relentless networking, blackmail, and favor-trading, he secured the title of Moff of the Atrivis Sector, following the mysterious and untimely death of his predecessor.
From his fortress-palace on Horuz, Moff Graush has ruled the Atrivis Sector with decadence and ideological cruelty. His home, often whispered about in tones of horror, is described by diplomats and officers alike as a “palace of horrors.”
A grotesque parody of a museum, its corridors are lined with taxidermied corpses and scientific displays: Duros infants suspended in preservative jars, Togruta warriors flayed and dissected, Wookiee fathers posed mid-shield in front of their cubs, Mon Calamari split from throat to gut, and countless other trophies—all displayed under flickering lights like grotesque art pieces.
A monument to xenophobic obsession and twisted science.
Under his command, the Atrivis Sector has undergone a silent but total transformation.
On planets like Mantooine, Horuz, and Gibbela, alien presence is now limited to slaves, janitors, and corpses. Nonhumans are no longer seen walking freely in the streets. Those who once did have vanished into processing camps or “resettlement” programs whose locations are known only to a few.
With the conflict in Nam’ta escalating into full civil war, Graush played a masterful hand. Under the watchful gaze of Darth Zudikas he worked closely together with the government of President Ralter to ensure an Imperial victory. Under his command the Nam'ta gambit was executed perfectly, forcing the Republic to Withdraw from Nam'ta to mend their shattered worlds.
This caused President ralter, whether by conviction or coercion, to came to his palace to formally request Nam’ta’s ascension into the Empire. This request, of course, was granted.
Now, as Imperial Governor Ralter enacts sweeping reforms and suppresses the rebellion with blood and fire, Graush’s influence looms large over every action taken.
Imperial military support, administrative coordination, and propaganda networks across the Atrivis Sector now flow from his palace to hers.
Already the moff has seen to the arrival of the Conquest Consolidation Corps in the Nam'tas system, and rumors abound of a more brutal phase of the war beginning.
Ralter;s recent decrees—endorsing mass executions of rebel sympathizers, the removal of aliens from Nam’ta’s military, and the denial of prisoner status to insurgents; all ordered by Moff Graush, have left many fearing the inevitable.
Some claim he intends to oversee a genocide of Nam’ta’s alien population if left unchecked.
Others argue that it has already begun.
Either way, there is little doubt: Moff Maximilian Graush does not simply rule Atrivis.
He reshapes it—in his image.
Notable Activities: Engaged in multiple dealings with the Horuset Powerbase during the siege over Nam'ta, later striking deals and interaction with the Powerbase in various manners, from trade deals to joint-strikes. Is said to have met with the current Lord Fist, Lord Sarias, on multiple occasions.

NPC Name: Major Grice Tillie
The Scalpal
NPC Image:
Relation to House Horuset: Friendly
Brief Desription: A career officer with a concealed personal history and a pragmatist’s soul, Grice Tillie is a product of the darker fringes of Imperial doctrine. Formerly attached to the Ministry of Logistics, Tillie operated as a senior coordinator for high-risk colonial suppression and insurgency dismantlement under the guise of Central Authority oversight. Often, his boots touched the ground first, when the Empire expected conditions that fostered seditious sentiment and rebellious intent. Known for his cold efficiency he earned both quiet admiration and whispered resentment. Now elevated to Major within the Imperial Army, he has transitioned from paper-pusher to field strategist; a dangerous shift for anyone in his shadow.
Notable Activities:
- Oversaw logistics and covert intelligence during the Alsolun Uprising in conjunction with the forces of the Horuset powerbase, reportedly contributing to the revelation of rebel command via targeted pressure.
- [ERROR: Value: Classified_Imperial_Command]
- Allegedly operates as both a military coordinator and ideological filter for Imperial assets deemed “problematic but useful.”
Last Known Appearance: Departing Alsolun 1st Central Garrison Spaceport at the same time as the Th'Asidra, following his successes on Alsolun. Grice and his Lieutenant, Jaina Darrick, were recalled to Kaas but thereafter were jointly recommissioned from the MoL into the Imperial Army. The pair were sighted boarding a shuttle that swiftly engaged blackout protocols.

The Republic Marches amongst lit fires!
The Balance of Power in the Northern Territories!
 |
After the Republic liberated Pollus from Imperial influence, Anx Minor was devastated by I.T.E.C.’s nuclear mining and lingering Sith presence, while the Kesmere Ridge remained largely intact, enabling the Republic to steadily infiltrate and influence its powerful corporate systems. On Tertiary Kesmere—the largest hub—three megacorporations dominated: Oriyn Prospecting discovered resources, Kessdyne Resource Group extracted and profited from the capital Vethar’s Reach and its Ciivic Council, and Haeltor Maritime handled off-world transport. Beneath the façade of economic growth, however, The Republic secretly aimed to turn Tertiary Kesmere into a strategic launch point for operations in the Northern Territories. Contacted by Moff Vayen Korr, the Marshalling Prefect of the Northern Territories, the Pentarchy of House Horuset took on the job of delaying the Republic's actions. With preperations laid it culminated in a strike planetside lasting only two weeks to ignite anarchy. Acting covertly to sabotage Republic progress, they destabilized the region, leaving chaos in their wake as corporations collapsed under their own deception and local anti-corporate guilds rose up—unaware of the Empire’s hidden hand behind the unrest...

((OOC: Missions that relate to grand changes in the Northern Territories will have an impact on the balance of power shown above, with the end result being that the balance of power's state will determine how strong the Republic will be in given areas area. The balance of power can be pushing in our favour with bigger scale events aimed at taking the Republic down or fortifying ourselves in the North. This can be achieved through Operations, Adventures and Guild Events. The blue represents the Republic, and the Empire is red! This is organised by the Guild Team, so please direct OOC questions to them.))
