Subject: Operation Baradium

The team of Apprentice Nivalis, Apprentice Mharn, Corporal Xogram and myself arrived on Axxila to deal with the communication relays. Apprentice Nivalis stayed back to provide support from the air.

We had to rappel down a cliff and use explosives to take out a generator in order to create a short, five minute window in which to infiltrate and plant the listening apparatus. There were lots of guards armed with slugthrowers, as well as two large dog droids. Apprentice Mharn scattered many of the guards before fought with a dog droid, whilst the Corporal and I dealt with the majority of the guards.

We had to get across a large gap between walkways, but managed to get inside the communications relay without much hassle. Corporal Xogram used his excellent specialty in communications engineering to plant the device after Apprentice Mharn...drained the engineers inside. The listening device was installed just in time, as the Corporal finished just as we heard the backup generators whirring into life.

I suggested that the drones be hacked to help deal with the reinforcements before we left. The Corporal was able to set the drones to standby mode, thereby reducing the threat to our escape.

The reinforcements thought they had trapped us in the relay, but the Corporal used a frag grenade out of the door to surprise them. We saw two droid dogs waiting for us, so Apprentice Mharn decided to use a "Mnaiaza" upon those who were still outside the door after the grenade. It punched through everything in its path - men and droids alike.

The Corporal and I dealt with any leftover guards, though I also managed to aid Apprentice Mharn's evasion of a sniper bolt. It was not a headshot, but it did strike his gut. The Corporal then activated his signal booster to send out a distress call for us to be picked up by any nearby imperial pilots. Apprentice Nivalis suggested on the comms that we download the data to give a reason as to why we were there, swiftly arriving in the ship to collect us.

The Corporal used suppressive fire to give us cover to board the ship and escape. We all arrived back at the Horuset Estates safely, though Apprentice Mharn was whisked away to the medbay upon arrival.
